My Beginnings 

Since my childhood, I always followed my heart and I was always determined, smart, competitive and talented. I started my journey on this earth in South America and coming from humble beginnings have helped me to appreciate everyone no matter how small I’m respectful for all life from the beggar to the prince is my protocol.  Coincidentally my high school quote was “if you see someone without a smile give them yours” and spreading joy, forgiveness, independence, and love is what life is about.

 

At about the age of 11 years old I started gaining weight and suffered from asthma, constipation, acne and debilitating pain during my monthly menstrual cycles.

Ignition of Inspiration

After my family moved to the US, I diligently started researching cures for my ailments and The Tree of Life bookstore in Harlem was a valuable resource. My discovery of the book “Back to Eden” by Jethro Kloss changed my life and continues to inspire me.

I armed myself with knowledge, and being an avid reader enabled me to discover the occult sciences, nutrition, Egyptology, Numerology, Astrology, Color Therapy and vegetarian lifestyles of all kinds from Vegan to Fruitarian. I also learned about yoga, religion, philosophy, dance, art, and music.

In the book “Back to Eden” the sentence that stayed with me was “your body is a graveyard for all the dead flesh you eat” and being terrified of graveyards as a child I took those words to heart as any impressionable youth would.

​Path to Vegetarianism 

My thirst for knowledge grew, and eventually, I started experimenting and became a vegetarian to the dismay of my parents, who spun my actions as disrespectful and rebellious, and their punishment was always lashes over my rump with bamboo canes of all sizes; corporal punishment was accepted in our home. My dad would always say: “…how dare you refuse the food I give you with all the starving children in the world!”

As a result of me not consuming milk, ice cream, sugar, cheese, fried foods, white rice, white flour, meats and seafood such as shrimp, lobster and crab, I increased my consumption of soy milk, nut milks, honey, brown rice, whole wheat flour, nuts, grains, seeds, vegetables and fruits. As a result, I no longer have asthma, acne constipation, and a slim form from this healthy dietary lifestyle.  I have dedicated my life to teaching and sharing my knowledge of nutrition to help hundreds of innocent consumers who have no idea what is in the foods we consume in America.
